Hilary Swank Review: Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don't know where they are, or how they got there. They don't know they've been chosen - for a very specific purpose - The Hunt Genre: Action writer: Nick Cuse. 2020 movie the hunt free download.

I just had PRK surgery last Friday, I'm starting this post the following Friday since I can finally use my computer again. Reason for post: To give people an idea of what I went through and real updates as I go through the healing process. I believe my vision was around -3. 75 and -4. 25 with a horrible astigmatism in my right eye and a not as bad astigmatism in my left eye. Why I chose PRK: Honestly just came down to the fear of flap dislodgement. I was told it affects less that 1% of LASIK patients but I didn't care. If I got LASIK it would be in the back of my mind the rest of my life. Day of Surgery - Was in the office for about an hour, mostly just waiting for other patients who came in before me to finish up. Had 1 more eye exam during that time to verify my vision. Unlike other reviews I watched on YouTube, I did not have my blood pressure tested. The doctor was there with the technician, the technician offered me stress balls if I was nervous. I wasn't nervous until I laid down on the machine and the lasers slowly moved over my head. The sound of the moving components + a little claustrophobia got to me. Because that broke me, a sudden fear of going blind came over me. It's unrealized because its like 1% of 1% of patients have some sort of chance of going blind because of surgery but from what I've read almost every case was because of a pre-existing condition before surgery. The surgery was fast, about 5 minutes per eye. That includes the numbing, verifying the inputs, scraping the tissue away, and putting the contacts in. For a brief minute after he cleaned the last eye and put the contact in everything was crystal clear. I blinked and it was gone, everything was blurry but holy hell so much better than before surgery without glasses. I could read things. I left the office and did have light sensitivity. I didn't have a headache or any type of eye pain at all that day (had the surgery around 8:30am. The rest of the day was just light sensitivity, eye drops, and hanging out in my dark room (I put a dark blanket over my window to keep the sun from coming in and taped off any and all blinking LED lights from my computer or other electronics (very happy I did that. The next day I woke up with still no pain. I was starting to think I got lucky, I only had to blow my nose and dry my watering eyes. About 1/2 the day went by without issue and then some pain came in. It wasn't a lot, probably about a 3 or 4 on a scale of 10. I just used my refrigerated preservative free eye drops to stop the small amount of pain. If anything I can say it was almost like the pain you would get when coming from a dark place into the sun way too fast. It wasn't horrible but it was annoying. That night when I was trying to go to bed I noticed my eyes throbbing. Almost like a throbbing headache, but focused on the eyes. I had the MCU on in the background to listen to throughout the day and did look over at the TV to try and watch ig (had the backlight and brightness down to 0 and contrast turned down a bunch. Trying to sleep after that, it took about maybe 20 minutes for my eyes to finally relieve the residual lights that were burnt into my eyes (like when you look at the sun for a few seconds then close your eyes and can still see it for a bit. The next day I woke up to literally the same throbbing pain I remember falling asleep to. This lasted about 3/4 of the day and all I did was try to listen to audiobooks, music, and the MCU. I could barely keep my eyes open and was tearing/blowing my nose a lot. This went on all day til about maybe 8pm when my eyes finally stopped throbbing (thank God. My eyes and nose still watered though but it was so much better. I went for a walk outside at twighlight with my sunglasses. Monday came around and I was still blowing my nose and drying my eyes. I went through about 1 and 1/2 box of tissues throughout the weekend. Towards the end of Monday I stopped tearing and blowing my nose as much, but nothing special. Light sensitivity was almost completely gone. I was able to see in light, it just took me a little longer than normal to adjust. I also noticed the "ghosts" or spots/halos around the LED lights in my room (the ones I didn't tape off. About 4-5 dots around the center light that formed a nice circle on my left eye, and some disformed crescent shaped moon on the right eye (assuming it may have been due to the astigmatism or something, however the laser needed to shape my eye. Tuesday came around and light sensitivity was completely gone. I went for a walk, I also moved my contacts over in my eyes to wet the center with drops since they were sticking a bunch (don't do that, probably not a good idea. I did wash my hands before I did that though. Everything was fine that day, still stayed inside. Vision wasn't much better than the day before. I could maybe see the kitchen clock a little more clear but I still couldn't see the thermometer on the back deck. Wednesday I went to the doctor to get the contacts removed. Vision was a little better but I still had double vision (forgot to mention that. Double vision was pretty bad, i had 1-2 layers of ghosted text around the main text when I'd read text messages on my phone. With that, I still tested at about 20-40 vision and the doctor said everything is normal. She told me to get Systane Nightime Lubricant Eye Ointment for when I go to bed to prevent dry eye and ripping off repairing tissue. This stuff was amazing btw, I used it for naps too. IDK if it was the eye ointment or not, but on Thursday I woke up and everything was so much clearer. I could see better and most of the double vision went away. I still had halos but the ghosts of the dots on the red led on my TV were almost gone. I drove myself to the bagel shop and got myself a bacon egg and cheese and stopped by my grandmothers to see here (she lives like a mile away so I felt comfortable going there) Friday I woke up and the vision was even better. I could finally read the numbers on the thermometer on the back deck. I drove myself to the DMV and passed the vision test! The state worker, however, didn't update my account properly so when I went home to get a replacement license it still said I needed corrective lenses. I'm still really angry with her, smh. Today's the first day i spent time on the computer. I tried yesterday (Thursday) but after 5 minutes the screen would just get too blurry. As I'm writing this I have had to close my eyes and let them settle because the screen does keep going blurry (I think that means my eyes are to dry and strained. I'll continue to update the post as my healing time goes on in case it helps anyone prepare, or if anyone is doing research on the topic. Feel free to comment down below if you have questions so far. Update 1/18: I switched over to the steroid drops from the steroid + medicine drops today. I woke up today and couldn't see as much as I could yesterday. My vision was a little more blurry but I could still make out the digits on the thermometer. I have no eye pain but a headache started last night and has gone on throughout the day. I woke up around 9-9:30am and ended up taking a nap around 2-3pm with more of the night time eye ointment. I woke up at 7pm and had some light sensitivity, but my vision was a little better. I tried making it through the movie "The Irishman" and got almost to the end but my eyes just couldn't handle looking at the screen (it kept getting really blurry and I kept using eye drops to see. I'm getting tired of not seeing clearly and I think that's where my headache came from (maybe from computer use. I have no doubt that tomorrow will be about the same. I clock back in for work on Monday, luckily I can work from home but I work in tech and have to look at a computer screen for 8 hours. I'm not sure how that's going to go. I really hope that I can see decently by some point this week. Another update for 1/18: Prednisolone Acetate makes my eyes cloudy and apparently can make you sensitive to light and give headaches. Google says that's normal side effects. I also noticed that about 20-30 minutes after taking it I end up having this nasty taste on the back of my tongue. 1/19: Nothing much has changed. Turns out my eyes aren't drying out anymore because the space heater in my room is broken. I ordered an infrared heater instead of a ceramic heater since its supposed to not dry out the air. 1/20: Back to work, working from home. Things are still really blurry so I had to move the monitors closer to my face. Even with that its hard to read. Update 1/21: Eyes are still blurry. I couldn't see the numbers on the thermometer on the back deck today, they were too blurry. About 1/2 way through the day I noticed an increased clarity in my computer screens after putting in my eye drops. Distance is still garbage. I watched a few YouTube videos and a couple of people noted that they woke up and just noticed visual clarity around the 2 week mark. Update 1/22 and 1/23 - Still blurry. Was watching TV and noticed some double vision in each eye (today, 1/23. The ghosts are now to the upper right instead of above and below like they originally were. Tomorrow is exactly 2 weeks since surgery. Update 1/24 and 1/25: My vision got worse on 1/24. It was extremely difficult to work, 4's looked like 9's, I could barely see the text on the screen without getting real close to it. My left eye was much worse than my right eye. I couldn't see the back thermometer numbers in either eye, but this time my left eye could barely see the clock in the kitchen. Double vision was so bad in that eye. The right eye had some double vision, but it was about the same as its been for the past week. I woke up on 1/25 and could have sworn I could see almost perfectly for up to 5 feet. Both my eyes made a nice jump (15 days like I've heard so many people say. I'm still blurry but I could read the thermometer on the back deck. My right eye is way ahead of my left eye in terms of vision. IF I close my left eye I can read the computer monitors from a normal distance (about an arms length with fingers extended from my head. My left eye can make out text from that distance but its still doubled (each letter has about 1/2 the pixels of that letter ghosted to the right from that distance. I can make out the words, but if I close my left eye my right eye will take about 2 seconds, than focus it in clear. I hope that I make some good jumps tomorrow too so I can start driving back into work. I've been thinking of getting some blue light filter glasses (I use the built in Win10 filter now) which could probably also help if I get pulled over since DMV didn't update my license. I've been looking for UV & blue light filter glasses, but there are so many gimmicky companies that IDK which one to trust that would actually block UV A & B. I don't wanna mess with the eyes so I may just stick with the sun glasses that LasikPlus gave me for when its sunny in the spring/summer, and get separate blue light glasses for when I drive (until the license is updated) and at work. Steroid drops come down to 2x a day today too. Update 1/26 and 1/27: I woke up on 1/26 and my right eye was so much better than it was the day before. The night of 1/25 I ended up ordering a pair of blue light filter glasses so when I return to driving I can have them in my car in case I get pulled over before the DMV updates my license. I also did some research and found out that double vision is different than ghosting in the fact that double vision gives you, well, double vision, but only applies when both eyes are open and goes away when you close one of your eyes. Ghosting is the same affect of double vision but applies to each individual eye, meaning if you close 1 eye you still have double vision. I could read the back deck thermometer and make out the individual lines, albeit they were still a little blurry (probably from the ghosting. The left eye could barely make out the numbers. I ended up staying inside all day and downloaded Jackie Chan Adventures since I haven't watched it since I was a kid. I also ended up driving to the park where there was a lot of distance vision going on. Everything far away (like over 1 mile away) was severely doubled. Didn't realize how bad it was. I couldn't read road signs or license plates. Really had no business driving. I won't be going out driving again for a 1/27 I woke up and about the same as yesterday. My right eye can read the back deck thermometer, maybe it was a smidge more blurry than yesterday. The left eye could just make out the numbers, I'd say better than yesterday but still not caught up to my right eye. My blue light glasses are in. They say they are spec'd to UV400 but I'll wait to go to the eyedoctor and have her test them to make sure. I found another site that says they are UV400 and are also blue light and have a sale buy 1 get 1 free. I'm into them but I gotta wait for customer service to e-mail me back about refunds if they don't pass the UV400 test (they are 30 bucks a piece. DMV got back to me today and told me that I need to have a "Medical Review" form filled out, either "MV-619 or a MV-80L" NYS. Would have been nice for the people down at the DMV to tell me this. I'll have to bring them in to my eyedoctor to have her fill them out when I go back for my appointment on 2/12. Other than that, called out of work today. I can read the text on my computer screen a lot better than all last week but I just didn't want to strain my eyes for 8 hours today. 1/28: No major change. Working today, can read the screen at 125% zoom. Last week I went between 225% to 165% minimum. Also found this study: These findings suggest that prednisolone acetate significantly delayed the normal wound-healing response compared with that in the control and cyclosporine groups. Looked for this after reading another post that said that the steroid use slows down healing. Study seems to confirm this. I come off next Friday so hopefully that helps with the ghosting. 1/29: Woke up, far away still sucks. I set my computer zoom to default 100. Left eye can now read text on screen as good as my right eye. Have not let up on drop usage, probably still every 30-45 minutes. 1/30: Woke up and vision was worse than yesterday, had to increase my font size to 115. I went out for a drive last night and the double vision was not as bad. The left eye, at a distance, was about even with my right eye. Haven't gone out today yet. Even though my vision overall seems to be worse than yesterday up close, distance is still pretty good (all things considered. The right eye is actually even more clear today at a distance than the left eye. The shifting of vision between left/right eyes, and near/far sighted vision is almost as bad as the double vision in terms of frustration. Overall, left eye distance same as yesterday, right eye distance betterish than yesterday, up close both are worse than yesterday but not bad. 1/31: Woke up today and vision was as clear as its ever been. Up close, I can tell that there is a very small ghosting effect, but its so minute that after rewetting drops or just blinking right everything focuses in crystal clear. Distance is about the same, still ghosting. 2/1 - Vision was as bad as it was on 1/30. Didn't get better throughout the day. Ghosting in my left eye was noticeable, and it switched from the host being on the right to being on the left. The right eye the ghost was on the right so it made it that much worse. Just opened a new bottle of the Systane night ointment 2/2. I woke up and my eyes were gunked up from the Systane. Washed my eyes and everything, i swear, was 20-20 crystal clear for up to about 15 feet. I saw the notches in the clock in the living-room and the notches on the thermometer on the back deck. As soon as I put eye drops in my eyes it washed away, what I'm assuming was, the Systane ointment that filled whatever crevices were in my eyeballs. Right eye is still better than my left, it can focus in on smaller text though ghosting is still there which still makes it hard to read. Left eye is still garbage.

Download Movie The hunter. This last November I flew with my wife to Japan. I would like to share about our experience, highlights and recommendations to travel to Japan. Also I want to point-out some activities or places that we wanted to do but we couldn't do. I hope that this information can help you to plan your trip. We planned to stay 2 weeks, 7 days traveling in Japan cities and 7 days in Tokyo. It started on 5 November 2019. I traveled with my wife from Bogota to Tokyo connecting at New York. The flight from New York was ANA 9 from JFK to Narita Airport. A 14-hour flight leaves at 10:45am and arrives the next day at 3:00pm. Day 1: Arriving Tokyo The immigration was fast and there wasn't any delay. After going out the immigration the checked baggage was available to pick up. I think it didn't take more than 30 minutes from the airplane to get the baggage. On the first day the plan was: Change the US dollars to Japan yens. Get a sim card for the mobile phone. Activate the Japan Rail Pass. Reserve Hello Kitty train. Arrive to the hotel next to Tokyo station. I am going to drill down the steps... 1. Change the US dollars to Japan yens. Japan is mainly cash country. Temples, vending machines, street food and some restaurants and museums only accept cash. You can pay with credit card in convenience stores and mall's stores but you will need the cash to have a seamless experience. There are a lot of money exchange booths. We chose the one with the better exchange rate and we changed 1000USD. More than enough for what we needed but we didn't wanted to ran out of money. We use the credit card when possible and at the end of the trip we burnt out the cash in the tax free stores. In case of running out of cash you can go to the convenience stores that are 24h and use the ATM. When you withdraw money your bank will charge you a fee, check your bank. There are in almost each corner I heard that the best is 7-eleven. FamilyMart and Lawson also are everywhere. Also the post offices and train stations have ATM. 2. You will need to get connected to travel in Japan. If you have a good roaming plan you can skip this step. "Google Maps" is your best friend to know where you are and to catch a metro or train. The only issue that I had with "Google Maps" was in Kyoto because it gave wrong directions for local bus. I had to get another app to complement Google Maps. Other than that, It is a must have tool to moving around Japan. Be aware that Japan only sell data sim cards to foreigners. There are no voice plan. There are a lot of options available. Choose the one that better suits you. I bought a 3GB plan that almost made it for all the trip. I consumed all the data 3 days before departure. I wasn't a problem because I got used to move at the metro and I planned ahead using wifi. It cost 2800Y that is less than 28USD. There are free wifi in convenience stores, hotels, train stations, airport, shinkansen (bullet train) parks, and main streets, everywhere. You will be connected for free. My mistake was that I didn't disable youtube for cellular data use in settings. In the shinkansen the free wifi dropped quite a lot, so that, I think, it was the reason to exhaust the data. I recommend to install "Google Translate" and download the Japanese and English (or your native language. It is the best tool to read Japanese and communicate with non-English speakers. To read you only need to take the picture and translate with your finger the text that you require to read. The camera option is amazing but that will consume your data. Use it with precaution or if you have wifi connection. I use the "Google Translate" To communicate to buy a dryer, just typing or speaking through the phone made the trick. I bought the sim card in "Bic Camera" located in the Narita Terminal 2 Floor 4th. Check the manual with the configuration settings to set the network and to activate the sim card. Again there are several options to get connected. I saw rental pocket wifi as an option. 3. Activate the Japan Rail. The Japan Rail Pass or JR Pass is a pass that allow you to take any transportation (train, bus, ferry and metro) from JR group. Be aware that Tokyo has several metro lines that are not covered by this pass. Also the shinkansen trains NOZOMI and MIZUHO are not covered but you don't need then to reach your destination in Japan. They are only the fastest. It is worth it if you are going to travel a lot. It is only sell it to foreigners. In my case, only to do the round trip to Kyoto will pay for the JR pass for 7 days. Check the calculator in sites like. You have to buy the JR pass before arriving to Japan. There are several offices or agents that can sell it. The pass will be delivered by mail for activation at arriving in Japan. See deeper information at There are different combinations of JR passes. You can select by Sectors: East Japan, West Japan, Hokkaido, etc Classes Green "first class" or ordinary "economy class" Days: 7, 14 or 21 days. Check the following link with information about it: I bought the 7 days pass because my itinerary fits those days. Maybe the 14 days will be better if you want use it to take the train from Narita to Tokyo. The NEX train could cost 3000 yen and to use it for JR lines inside Tokyo. I went from the airport to Tokyo station using the 1000 yen Bus. To activate the JR pass you can use the offices in the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at the Narita airport. Check the link: Also the Tokyo station has a JR office to make reservations. I activated the JR pass for the next day. Take in consideration that the pass is for the consecutive days from activation and only last to midnight. That is why I took the 1000 yen bus to maximize the JR pass time. If you lose your JR pass you have to buy another. There aren't reprint or replacements. My wife is a Hello Kitty fan. She wanted to take the Hello Kitty theme shinkansen from Hiroshima to Osaka. This first day we made the reservation. Check the following link for itinerary and operation days and time table: 4. After arriving in the 1000 yen bus from the airport it was a good idea to stay next to Tokyo station to rest and get early the next day to take the shinkansen in Tokyo station. If you have the JR pass you can arrive by train. You can take the JR Narita Express (NEX. Thera are another options by train or taxi (if you don't mint to expend. Check: I stayed at HOTEL UNIZO Tokyo Ginza-itchome. It is a nice Hotel with a lot of amenities. If you travel with a partner, I strongly recommend to reserve at least double bed. The rooms and beds in Japan are small for western standards. I use page to reserve all my hotels and I was a good experience. You have coupons and promotions with discounts that made the hotels more affordable. The only issue is that you must be ready for the hunt and check the options near the train and metro stations. I tried to reserve all the hotels near the train station. It is the best option to save time and money in your stay. In Tokyo I reserved near the Yamanote Line which is the best option. Day 2: Nara - Osaka On the second day we took the shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto (2h 20m) then a local train from Kyoto Station to Nara Station (45min. I endorse to do reserve the seats right side of the train. You will have a superb view of the Mount Fuji. From the Nara station a nice walk to the Todai-ji Temple took about 30min. The Kintetsu-Nara Station is closer to the Nara Park where you can find Nara Museum, Kofuku-ji Temple and Todai-ji Temple. I recommend to program the google maps to reach that station instead Nara Station. We let our biggest bag at the Nara Station. There are coin lockers that you can use. Going to the Todai-ji Temple you will find: Nara Park: he Nara Park where you can find Nara Museum, Kofuku-ji Temple and Todai-ji Temple. There are deer that are freely inside the park. They are considered "messengers of the gods" so they are special. You can feed them with cookies that are sell by 200yens. Be aware that they are wild animals. My wife was bitten by them, it was more a funny scene but It let a mark. #Kofuku-ji Temple: We didn't entry to the temple but we took pictures and the pagoda is beautiful. #Todai-ji Temple: Amazing temple. Worth to visit and get inside. The Buda is huge... I recommend to see the Japanology chapter for the Todai-ji! Horyuji Temple: A UNESCO world heritage. We could see it because we ran out of time. It was a mistake because it is at 11 minutes by train from Nara station. In Osaka we stayed in a hotel far away from train station. Big mistake because you lose time and money in the metro transfer. This city is well known for the food and the night activities. I went to the Dotonbori sign and we took a short cruise in the Dotombori River. A river boat sightseeing trip took around 20 minutes cruising under the city's 9 landmark bridges. I recommend this ride to take pictures in the night. I didn't want to go to the Osaka castle. I read reviews that is a reconstructed castle and it is a museum. There are a lot of activities that you can do in Osaka but I didn't have enough time so I skipped this city to prioritize other. Day 3: Osaka - Hiroshima. Still with the jetlag we leave the hotel very early in the morning and we took the shinkansen from shin-Osaka station to Hiroshima station. In 1h 45min we arrived to Hiroshima. The Nest Hotel Hiroshima Hatchobori is near the train station. Very nice hotel. You can walk or take the bus or better the tram. We only realize that the tram was the best option the last day. We stayed only one night time enough to go to: Peace Memorial Park and its historic exhibitions. I can be a little crowed with school trips. #Atomic Bomb Dome: The only building that stood after the explosion. #Explore Hiroshima Castle: The atomic bomb destroyed the original castle. This is a reconstruction converted in museum. The city view is amazing. #Visit the Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima, a seaside shrine. The Torii in the sea is a beautiful view. Unfortunately the Torii was in maintenance and the view wasn't the best but taking the ferry and walk around the isle worth it. A lot of people recommend to spend the night at the island. If you can afford it, I recommend to do it. we went to the island in the afternoon, with the high tide. Day 4: Hiroshima - Kyoto The time had come to take the Hello Kitty train from Hiroshima Station to Shin-Osaka station. My wife was extremely happy to travel in the train. The train is a little tired but you will find Hello Kitty logos everywhere, even in the restroom. There is a car next to the driver where you can buy merchandising and you answer 4 questions from the region, you will win a postcard. Remember to check the time schedule at: And reserve your seat. From Osaka we took another train and in less 30min we arrived at Kyoto Station. The hotel is named "Guest House One More Heart at Gion 1" located at the Gion district. Gion is Kyotos geisha district, with hostesses in colorful kimonos often sighted on the wooden Tatsumi Bridge, or amid upscale Japanese restaurants and boutiques on Hanamikoji Street. We bought the 1 day bus pass for 600yens. I you take at least 3 bus rides the bus pass is your best option. There was not need to pay for the one day pass with the metro by 900yens. You can reach all the main locations by bus or using the JR pass. In Kyoto we spend in time 3 days. The places that we visit the first day in Kyoto were. Rokuon-ji Temple: It is known locally as Kinkaku-ji or the Golden Temple. #Ichiran: We ate Ramen in this famous place. Another must have experience. Day 5: Kyoto. At this time we knew that all Temples, Shrines and Museum will open from 9am and closes to 5pm. So we arrange or activities to maximize the time. Therefore the activities started in this order. Inari. We took the bus and the train to reach the Fushimi Inari Taisya-Senbon (Thousand) Torii. This place host the guardian Gods for business success, familial well-being, traffic safety and improvement in performing arts, as well as allow you a photo opportunity at the Thousand Torii Gates. It is open 24h at day and we avoided the crowd visiting very early this location. You can take breathtaking photos of the thousand Torii and also check the Kyoto landscape from a higher ground. Nijo Castle: Nijo Castle is a flatland castle in Kyoto, Japan. The castle consists of two concentric rings of fortifications, the Ninomaru Palace, the ruins of the Honmaru Palace, various support buildings and several gardens. The Kyoto Imperial Palace is near the Nijo Castle. I read reviews that only if you have time you should go inside. I didn't go maybe next time. Tenryu-ji Temple: Another UNESCO place. It is located at far west of Kyoto. Personally I think is a little expensive for the experience. You can buy the entry for the gardens only. I went inside the Temple and it was nice but I am not going to repeate in the future this Temple. Sagano Bamboo Forest, or Arashiyama Bamboo Grove or Sagano Bamboo Forest, is a natural forest of bamboo in Arashiyama, Kyoto, Japan. The forest consists of several pathways for tourists and visitors. I was in this forest in the afternoon. A lot of people killed the magic of the place. Maybe if you go very early at the morning or later you should enjoy this attraction. I didn't have time to go to other places like the Togetsu-kyo Bridge. There are more temples and shrines near this location. Day 6: Kyoto - Nagoya. More to do in Kyoto, so we started with. Kiyomizu-dera Temple: The hotel was close to the Kiyomizu-dera Temple. You have to visit this place. Another UNESCO World Heritage site. It has a beautiful landscape. You can find: Wooden stage. It is said that if you jump from there and survive you will be granted a wish. Otowa Waterfall is located at the base of Kiyomizudera's main hall. Its waters are divided into three separate streams, and visitors use cups attached to long poles to drink from them. Each stream's water is said to have a different benefit, namely to cause longevity, success at school and a fortunate love life. Love Stones at Jishu Shrine: There is a shrine dedicated to Okuninushi, a god of love and matchmaking. In front of the shrine you will find two love stones, which are 18 meters apart, and lots of couples looking to confirm their love. Legend says that if you can find your way from one stone to the other with your eyes closed (no cheating) you will find true love. You can have help so don't despair. As usual if you get early you will have the best time to take photos and avoid the crowds. We walk by the Gion district and enjoy the houses and the architecture. We found multiple temples and ended at the Maruyama Park. Ginkakuji (Silver Pavilion) This temple is located north-east Kyoto. The bus will leave you close to walk to the temple. As the golden pavilion the gardens and the view pay the visit. This site has a small hill were you can see Kyoto and take more photos. Sanju-san-gen-do Temple: It is known for the 1001 statues, specifically the Thousand Armed Avalokiteshvara statue. Another must to visit in Kyoto. Totally worth it. Kyoto National Museum. It is located next to Sanju-san-gen-do Temple. We really wanted to go inside but the permanent exhibition was closed for renovation until 2020. We took the bus to Kyoto station and used our JR passes to go to Nagoya. In about 40min we arrived to Nagota. We made the check-in at "Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Sakuradori. This hotel is near the train station. With the time left in 30min we went to. Scmaglev and railway park: It is a railway museum owned by Central Japan Railway Company in Nagoya. You can spend 2h in this museum. In the way to the train museum you can take photos of the sea. Also there is a Legoland next to the park. If you travel with children maybe can consider to visit. This city is the Toyota city were you can find 2 museums. I didn't have time to visit them. Day 7: Nagoya - Mishima - Gotemba - Mishima From Nagoya to Mishima the shikansen took around 2h. We left the bags at the hotel "Dormy inn Mishima Natural Hot Spring. This hotel is near the train station and It has a special perk an Onsen (public bathroom. He arrived in 1h to Gotemba Premium Outlets. Unfortunately the weather was rainny so we couldn't see the mount Fuji from that town. We didn't realize that the hotel room has a fenomenal view. The next day we could see throught the windows the mount Fuji. It was a pleasant surprise. Day 8: Mishima - Tokyo (last JR pass day) Our last connection was from Mishima to Tokyo. In 2h and 20min we ended or journey at Tokyo Station. I strongly recommend to get a Hotel next to a train station in the Yamanote Line. We reserved the "APA Hotel Komagome Ekimae. This hotel was near the "Komagome Station. Once you are in this line you can reach all the main attraction in central Tokyo. If you have a valid JR pass you don't have to pay to take this metro. Tokyo National Museum: This day we went to the Tokyo National Museum. It is located in the Ueno Park. We spent the rest of the afternoon in this museum and enjoy the park. Days 9 to 16 Tokyo This big city cannot be done in 7 days. There are so many things to do that I will cover only the ones that I liked and I could do. Ueno Zoo. There are 2 pandas in this zoo. The queues to see them are long. We got to the zoo at 9am, I thought that the zoo will open to 9am (it is 9:30am. That worked for our benefit because we were able to see them right the door opened. Shinjuku. This district is know as the red district. In this location you will find the Godzilla Head (each hour a free short show) the Robot restaurant (psychedelic Japan show) and the Samurai Museum. This last one I went and I enjoyed. It is # Shibuya. In this location you will find the popular " Shibuya Crossing " and next to the crossing the Hachiko statue. Genki Sushi is a restaurant where you can get sushi by a conveyor belt. It is a cool experiance in Shibuya. Imperial Palace East Gardens. These gardens are open to the public. The entry is free but you will have to allow to pass a security check in order to entry the gardens. Check the time schedule because there are day that are close. Normaly opens at 9am. You can walk from the Tokyo station to this gardens. Akihabara. The Electric town. It is a cool place to visit at night. District for electronic and otaku goods. Located in central Tokyo that is famous for its many electronics shops, maid cafes, figures, gachapon (A type of vending machine-dispensed capsule toys popular in Japan and elsewhere) and arcade games. A lot of stuff you will find in Akihabara. Edo Museum. Nice museum with free audio guides next to the Sumo stadium. Sensoji. Asakusa's main attraction is Sensoji, a very popular Buddhist temp. The giant lamps is another icon from Tokyo. Odaiba. Accessed via the Rainbow Bridge or the futuristic Yurikamome train, Odaiba is a high-tech entertainment hub on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay. You will find the Fuji tv building, the real size Gundan (free show every hour) a statue of liberty, malls and a free vintage display. The Megaweb Toyota City Showcase has free amenities like racing simulator, 4d movie experiance and Toyota concept cars are displayed. More things to do in Odaiba, you could easily spend a day here. Tokyo Tower. It is a communications and observation tower. Its shape is the same that the Tour Eiffel. It is an icon in Tokyo. There are multiple floors you can pay to entry to the middle section and the top. The view is remarkable. Harajuku. It refers to the area around Tokyo's Harajuku Station, which is between Shinjuku and Shibuya on the Yamanote Line. It is the center of Japan's most extreme teenage cultures and fashion styles, but also offers shopping for adults and some historic sights. Tokyo Skytree. The tallest building in Tokyo City. It is a communication tower. I didn't go but if you are a hardcore pokemon fan you will find a Pokemon center inside. Book-Off, Hard-Off. There are several locations with different inventory. So check for them around Japan. Studio Ghibli. This studio has a high demand and only can be done by advance reservation only. Hai all! I've spent years DMing for DnD and similar systems, and I've been looking to dig into FATE. I'm presently the "frontiersman" of my group of gamers in terms of this system. I've bought Fate Core, Fate Accelerated, and have watched plenty of Youtube videos, and listened to Adventure Zone's short take on a Fate-driven game. Storytelling and narrative are kind of my thing, so I feel FATE will be perfect. However, its a different system for me. Between reading the book, trying to build a ShadowFate campaign (ShadowRun inspired) and realizing I need to start simpler to get familiar. I light-bulbed the idea of running a Jurassic Park inspired setting for a short single or couple session run! My friends are huge movie nerds. Some ideas I had: Survival/Intrigue. Characters play roles similar to original JP movie., in an alternate version of the original JP movie, except a future where the original characters were killed except for John Hammond and his employees. Players slowly discover they are not the first people who toured the park, uncover that John Hammond is a mentally unstable dinosaur fanatic, Muldoon is his hitman, and that the parks first failure was a coverup. Problem with this is. everyone has seen the original movie. XD They know things are going to happen anyhow, and it might start off really boring. Unless I completely rebuild the island, characters, and events to be original. (Hunting/Study. and then Survival. Also entertaining something where InGen hires this group to to study on a different island. In this case, JP/JW lore, but nothing directly related to the specific settings in the movie. Maybe they're trying to tame the island to build a park. Maybe reclaim and island. Maybe maintain security for a park on the brink of a disaster. My experience with DnD, different settings, and a couple other RP's tells me that learning and mastering FATE demands a change in mind-set, change in flow, and a grasp on how the game runs in advance so I can be on top of things. I've started writing up "aspects" for things; certain places, people, etc. It already feels like it's going to be a big trial and error session however. The books and videos are great, but I'm sensing there's some unwritten wisdom I can get from the community by asking directly; download some raw, human data. How can I effectively prepare myself so I can hit session one on the nose? What are some day-one things I should avoid. What practices, tools, or tricks can I leverage to help support, drive, and (potentially) automate the game to keep things at a balance between simple, and interesting? What has worked for you. For long-time FATE players, any big rocks. big tips you have for an experienced DM coming new into FATE? How can a new FATE GM really kick ass at this system. In terms of a setting like this (wilderness, dinosaurs, security -or- hunting -or- civilian survival) any good tips or resources.
